Easy Roasted Cabbage with Dijon Onion Sauce

Roasted Cabbage with Dijon Onion Sauce
Ingredients:
- Half cabbage
- 2 tbsp chopped onion
- Olive oil
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- Salt & pepper to taste
- ¼ cup heavy cream (optional)
- Chives (optional garnish)
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 450F
- Slice cabbage into wedges (leaving the core intact)
- Place cabbage wedges into pan
- Brush olive oil to coat the wedges, salt and pepper to taste
- Flip wedges and repeat
- Place oven-safe pan into oven and roast for 20 to 25 minutes (flip once half way)
- In a separate saucepan, add butter, onions, garlic, Dijon mustard, and pepper
- Over medium heat, cook the sauce stirring often (If you prefer a creamier sauce, you can add the ¼ cup of cream here)
- Dish the cabbage wedges and pour the sauce on top, adding optional chives for garnish
- For best results, serve immediately and enjoy!
