Cord-Pro: Safety Tips

As the consumer, please be aware that safe use of the Cord-Pro should always be a priority.  Here are some important safety points to consider and follow with use of the Cord-Pro.

Know your extension cord capability as well as the amp usage of the unit that the extension cord is being plugged into.  If the extension cord is going to be used while in a coiled manner (partially inside the Cord-Pro unit), you must be diligent in assuring that you only plug the extension cord into something that is rated for half the amps capacity to allow for the fact that electricity will be running through a coiled extension cord.  This will cause some heat friction and must be considered for Cord-Pro's use so that it does not cause a safety hazard.

If you intend to use the extension cord to its full amp capacity, then the extension cord myst be fully extended for this use.  Please make reference to the chart on the "Cord Installation and Use Instructions" which is inserted into each Cord-Pro unit.
